Patron Saint is a look at the life and art collection of Janusz Dukszta, a charming 82-year-old psychiatrist and art patron who came to Canada as a refugee from Poland. Dukszta’s collection consists of nearly 100 portraits of himself that he has commissioned over the past 60 years, and this biographical documentary explores the motivations and history behind those commissions. The portraits, and indeed this film, show a man who is not afraid of being exposed.
